Hi Pete, It’s hard enough. Just have to take it as it comes. The hardest thing to cope with is the people who have power over you. Another 8 days before my bike arrives and is unloaded. Cheers

You said it – should have experimented with taking your back wheel off before leaving home. Oh well, you have the learning now.

Shame you had to hightail it across to Darwin without time to take in the sights – only to find it was a Friday public holiday and you couldn’t book the bike in anyway… Sorry I’m getting ahead of your blog.

Crazy that you are in Darwin and are closer to Jakarta than you are to Taree! Good luck with checking the bike in with the shipper and getting across to Timor-Leste. Enjoy Darwin and surrounds while you are there. Maybe get a day trip down to Litchfield National Park for a swim.
