Try getting up on the roof of the ferry with your sleeping mat and ear plugs for you next ferry crossing. There’s usually space up there and less diesel fumes. Not good if it is raining though

Did they think you wanted a short time hotel? Jeez, looks like you are half way from Dili to Bali already. Better plan some sight seeing or beach days along the way. Don’t miss out on the different coloured volcano lakes

Hey Charles, You may have used the wrong tense here. I think you mean adapted not adapting.
As in past tense not present. However, I shall look forward to enjoying my own similar experience on my return. Got any smouldering volcanos in your backyard. I have.
